Mobile Telephones
Now, maybe it’s just me but, while I agree that it’s dangerous to use a mobile while driving and I have no problem with the fines going up or issuing points to offenders should we really be diverting huge amounts of Police time to enforcement? There are many serious crimes, such as NHS staff assaulted every 7 minutes that, in my opinion, justify more Police attention. I’m sure it’s not the Police to blame here but some political interference. What do you think?

Is this where I use my password?
Re Mobile phones, whilst I agree with the first comments made, I feel that there should be sufficient funds made available to health authorities to enable them to employ on site fully trained secuity staff to deal with medical staff safety. it also must be born in mind the number of deaths caused on our busy roads by moblie phone users whilst travelling. I feel that the level of input by the police at present must be maintained until these inconsiderate drivers get the message that it will not be tolerated.
I think you must have used your password to get here and this is the only area where you would need it.
I agree with your comments on mobile phones and driving by the way but I am suggesting that it is difficult to police in the traditional way and takes up a lot of Police time – maybe a technological solution would work better?
I sent the above reply via email on the home page and was surprised to see it pop up straight away under the correct heading, I guess I am still learning.
I think we all are! This system is a lot cleverer than I realised and I bet I’ve only discovered half of it…
Thanks for getting back to me and not making me feel a bit of an idiot.
