Trying the new CV
Okay, I’ve updated the jobsite information with a new CV with most personal information removed. In particular, it will be difficult to figure out much else other than my name and what skills I have. We’ll see if that makes any difference!

So far, it’s pretty clear I am completely wasting my time! Rates of pay in IT (or ICT as they appear to have renamed it) are very poor. In fact, I can get a better deal as a painter & decorator or handyman.
Of course, it’s all pretty irrelevant anyway as, despite following up numerous opportunities, it appears I am too old to work in my chosen profession! At least, after the first meeting I never hear another word – I’m sure I’m not that offensive!
The UK is supposed to need an influx of 150,000 skilled IT people every year but I can’t see what would attract them…
