Welcome to the 50+ Club!

So, is this just another web site for over 50’s with time on their hands? We hope not and we hope that you will help make sure it never becomes that.

We need YOUR contributions, opinions and assistance to make this site as useful and as easy to use as possible.

Normally, these sort of sites burst into existence fully formed but this one is going to grow before your eyes.

What is the aim?

There are lots of them actually, probably some I haven’t thought of, and hopefully many more that you will think of but here’s a few ideas to start things rolling. Ever tried to get a new job after 50? I have. And it seems many others have had the same problems I have had. No too many employers are that age friendly despite the new laws! Maybe some of you can help those of us who haven’t had to hone our CV and interview skills for a while to present ourselves to best advantage.

On a different note, I love travelling and I would be very interested in hearing about all your adventures. Plus, what about recommending somewhere you’ve been and giving us the benefit of your experience. Have a look in the gallery where I’ll put some stuff about Flims in Switzerland to see what I mean.

What do you want? I have set up a blog so you can exchange ideas or even have a rant about something close to your heart!

    Dear 50+ Club,

I am from an agency that has been tasked with inviting influential bloggers to to take part in an exclusive free health screening.

We are working with a company who specialise in helping people to address potential health problems early on, through a quick and painless screening which can help to give peace of mind.

We’re looking for influential bloggers to come along for a free screening and then if you find the process at all helpful you can blog about the entire process to share with your readers.

Please get in touch if you are interested or if you would like any more information. You will be reimbursed for any out of pocket expenses.

    Kind Regards,

    Carly

  2. Hi,

I’m currently working for Castle Cover, one of the UK’s leading 50+ insurance specialists. You can find out a little more about them and their services at http://www.castlecover.co.uk/.

We’re currently looking to promote the company’s range of home insurance by associating ourselves with informative, high quality websites to ensure we reach our audience as effectively as possible.

After looking at your website, the50plusclub.co.uk, I feel that such a well-established and well followed website would be perfect for our campaign and enable us to reach our target audience. Ideally we’d be looking to host a guest article on the site, perhaps an informative guide or review might be appropriate? Hopefully that would help us raise the company’s profile and provide something interesting and informative for your audience.

If you do have any set guidelines regarding advertising and pricing it would be great if you could forward them on, so hopefully we can work out something around them.

Thank you very much for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Kind regards,

    Gary Greenall
